From October 1-8 the SDS formators from the Asia-Pacific region met in Bangalore, India, under the guidance of Fr. Milton Zonta, SDS, and Fr. Mario Agudelo, SDS, from the Generalate in Rome. The participants came from India, Philipines and Australia. The Philippines were represented by Frs. Chris Kowalczyk, Artur Chrzanowski, Wilson Catabay and Hubert Kranz. It was a very refreshing experience to meet other confreres who are working in the same ministry and to discuss with them matters of formation of young Salvatorians in Asia. The purpose of this kind of meeting is to give formation and support to the formators and to evaluate possibilities of better cooperation among the Asian units as well as with the worldwide society. Some of the participants took the chance and stayed a few days longer to see a bit more of incredible India, in particular the state of Kerala in the southwest of India.
